Don't forget to bring in spare change for the Lower School student council fundraiser to benefit the Akron Children's Hospital. Change can be turned in at homeroom until the end of February. |

Head Notes
As we move toward a time of significant transition for the school, we are preparing for a visit from our Head of School-elect, Lou Salza. Lou will be state-side in March to speak at the Harvard Graduate School’s Annual Learning Differences Conference, and will spend three days at Lawrence to further familiarize himself with the school, the staff, and opportunities presented when he begins his tenure in August.
Our hope is that Lou’s visit in March will allow him to meet many members of the Lawrence community in an informal way. For that reason, we have set aside time for parents to drop in to the Lower School and share a cup of coffee with Lou, on Thursday morning, March 29, from 8-9 am. The next morning, Friday, March 30, Lou will have coffee and conversation at the Upper School from 8:30 – 9:30 am.
These will be informal get-together's and I encourage you to take this opportunity to get to know Lou. Mark your calendar, and we will be sure to remind you of these dates in upcoming issues of the Loop.
