Head Notes

As students focus their attention on end-of-school-year events, exams and celebrations, internally we have been working very hard to plan some exciting new courses and programs for the next school year.
After many years of counting this as a "wish list" item for Lower School, I am excited to announce that, starting next year, there will be an after school program for students in grades 1-6. The program will run from 3-6 pm and includes time for assisted homework, physical activities, and a provided snack each day. Stay tuned for more details!
In the Upper School, new courses for next year include Military History, Environmental Science, and semester courses which support the OGT initiative in math, science, reading, writing and social studies. We are also expanding our foreign language program by adding Latin and Sign Language. Finally, we are thrilled to launch a new music program, of which all Upper School students will be able to take advantage.
Additionally, we anticipate the continued growth of technology, as well as added extracurricular offerings across all grade levels. Our expanded space is certainly already allowing for expanded opportunities for our students and families, and we look forward to sharing more of these with you in upcoming months!
