2017 Commencement – What You Need To Know

The 13th Annual Commencement Exercises, honoring the graduates of the Class of 2017, will be held at the Upper School campus on Friday, May 26, beginning at 2 p.m. We are pleased to welcome Class of 2012 graduate, Jenna Winkelman, as our Commencement Speaker.

The details of Lawrence School's 2017 Commencement Exercises are as follows:

Seating: The family of each graduating senior will be provided 10 seats in the gymnasium. If there are special circumstances that require additional seats, please contact Director of Student Activities ReGinae Reynolds as soon as possible. No tickets are required to participate in Commencement Exercises and families wishing to sit in a specific location should arrive early, as there is no assigned seating.

Parking: There is ample parking both on and near the Upper School campus. The Upper School campus is fully accessible, so the needs of persons with disabilities can be easily accommodated.

Ceremony: Commencement Exercises will begin promptly at 2 p.m. and conclude around 4 p.m. Following the ceremony, graduates will be photographed as a group for a final time. All graduates should plan to remain on campus until photos are taken.

We hope that you will find this information helpful as you plan for this special time in your family's life. If you have questions, concerns or comments, please contact Mr. Culp at 330.908.6810.
