Learning Disorder Testing This assessment is suggested for students who are suspected of having a learning disorder and/or may require special testing in order to receive academic accommodations. Many students who have received testing in the past also use our services to obtain additional school services, verify eligibility for special accommodations on college entrance exams, or determine whether their learning issues have responded to specialized intervention.
Testing includes:
- IQ Test: Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-IV)
- Academic Achievement Test: Wechsler Individual Achievement Test or Woodcock-Johnson Achievement Test
- Brief background interview with parents
- Written report and face-to-face feedback provided after the assessment is completed

Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations Many students have psychological difficulties that affect their ability to learn, participate in school activities, or feel good about themselves. A comprehensive psychological evaluation can determine if your child has ADHD, a learning disorder, anxiety, depression or another condition. The results from this kind of evaluation can help ensure that your child is receiving the proper intervention and support.
Testing Includes:
- Diagnostic interview
- IQ Test (see above)
- Academic Achievement Test (see above)
- Completion of standardized ratings forms by parents, teachers and children
- Personality testing (if needed)
- Specialty/projective testing (if needed)
- Classroom observations
- Written report and feedback provided after testing is completed
