| READY, SET, GROW!Kindergarten Readiness Program June 14 - July 11, 2012 8am - 12 pm Fee: $750 Specially designed for students preparing to enter kindergarten, Ready, Set, Grow! will help students develop:
- Solid foundational skills for a successful kindergarten experience, including
- Fine motor skills
- Listening skills
- Classroom skills and competency
- Phonemic awareness skills
- Literacy awareness to engage and develop an interest in reading
- Number sense: An understanding of what numbers mean, how they are related to each other, and how they relate to the world around us
Students will also make new friends, enjoy plenty of play time, and develop a sense of "fun" around learning. |

The Lions LEAP program helps students entering grades 1-6 (and those repeating kindergarten) experience academic success and gain valuable organizational skills and strategies that can be carried into the new school year.
Academically, students will reinforce and enrich academic skills in the areas of language arts, reading, written expression and mathematics. Organizational skills and strategies are embedded in the learning process. Classes are structured and non-graded, with an average 1-to-6 teacher-to-student ratio.
Socially, students are empowered to broaden friendships, increase self-esteem, and begin to see learning as “fun”. Through positive reinforcement and a structured, comfortable environment, students are able to experience academic success – some for the first time.

Jim Chones Basketball Camps
| The Upper School is hosting a series of basketball camps for students ages 8-17, with coaching provided by members of the Chones family. The purpose of this unique camp is to teach basketball skills hand-in-hand with daily success principles. There are three one-week camps:
Session I: July 9 -13, 2012
Session II: July 16 -July 20, 2012
Session III: July 23 - 27, 2012
Each camp runs Mon-Fri 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Early registration begins April 2, 2012. Early registration fee is $175 per camp. Regular fee is $190 per camp. Discount group rates apply (contact for details).
