ExpandTroy Thomas is Senior Vice President and Group Information Security Leader within Wells Fargo’s Information and Cyber Security group. Troy provides leadership and oversight in all areas of information security for the consumer and small business banking, consumer lending and corporate strategy, digital platforms and innovation.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Troy had a 23-year career at KeyBank where he spent the last 11 years as Chief Security Officer. In addition to serving as CSO, Troy also held the dual role of Chief Administrative Officer for Key’s IT group and led Technology Risk Management.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Cleveland State University. He has also completed an Executive Leadership Program at CASE Weatherhead School of Management and an Implementing Strategy Program at Wharton School for Executive Management.
Troy has been a member of the Lawrence School Board since 2004. In addition, he is the past president of the Northeast Ohio chapter of the Society for Information Management professional organization.
