Why I love my job: Empowering students when I teach reading and writing and helping them find success makes my job so meaningful. I was the oldest of four children, so I’ve always been a teacher at heart.
Best part of the day: When we come together as a class and discuss what we have learned.
Favorite subject to teach: Romeo and Juliet—the students go crazy for it.
An accomplishment I’m proud of: Writing my thesis for my master’s degree.
