Mrs. Joy Hall
Upper School Teacher
B.S. Ohio University
What drew me to Lawrence: I never knew a school like Lawrence existed until I moved to Northeast Ohio. Lawrence changes lives, and I am glad to be part of something big. My heart is so full when I hear from an alumnus that I made an impact on their life.
Why I love my job: Every day, I have the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life. I can inspire, instill confidence, foster self-esteem, and show kindness.
An accomplishment I’m proud of: I was recognized for Excellence in Art Education by the Lab School in 2007. Only 15 teachers were chosen in the entire country, and I'm pretty proud of that!
Spotted off-campus: I love spending time with my family and friends, no matter what we do. I also spend more time than I probably should shopping for supplies at my local arts & crafts store.
