What drew me to Lawrence: I have a daughter who struggled with ADHD and anxiety throughout her school years. After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years, researching and developing organizational strategies to help her, coming to Lawrence was a great fit.
Why I love my job: I love the helpfulness, acceptance, and understanding from all of the Lawrence faculty and staff. It felt like family from my first week here. I also love knowing where the students have been and witnessing how far they have come.
An accomplishment I’m proud of: Helping to create the IE program and training Samson to be a therapy dog, and seeing the joy he brings to both students and staff.
Something others don’t know about me: My husband and I are celebrating 10 years of marriage after meeting at Lawrence.
