Why I love my job: Just being part of the Lawrence community—it’s filled with compassion, empathy, and support. We really are a family; there for each other in any and all moments. I love graduation, as well. Knowing the challenges our students overcame and seeing smiles on their faces, exuding confidence as they walk down that aisle is indescribable.
Best part of my day: When I witness one of my students take skills they’ve gained in Learning Strategies class and apply them in real life in or outside the classroom.
Spotted off-campus: I am a lover of the outdoors. I spend as much time as possible soaking up nature and sunshine with my husband, two children, and dog Cocoa.
