What drew me to Lawrence: As a reading specialist, it’s important to me that my students learn how to navigate the world with the reading and writing skills/tools they need. I knew they would get that at Lawrence.
Best part of the day: I love spending time with students, getting to know them, and hearing about their interests, passions, and future plans.
Favorite subject to teach: I enjoy teaching sewing. At the end of the lesson, all the students are very proud of what they end up making.
What others don’t know about me: I was a serious ballet dancer as a child and traveled to Taiwan when I was 11 years old to dance at the International Children's Festival.
