The essential function of these positions is to provide coverage for teachers who are absent from school, and to provide a safe, structured, and academically-focused experience for students. The ideal candidates possess previous experience in a school setting. A positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and demonstrated success in a collaborative and cooperative workplace are essential. Knowledge and sensitivity to the needs of students who struggle with learning and attention differences is important. A bachelor’s degree is required; teacher licensure is preferred. Lawrence School is a co-ed, K-12, independent school serving approximately 300 students from 11 counties and 80 communities across Northeast Ohio. We have two campus locations in Northeast Ohio.
