Why I chose my profession: Getting to talk about science all day. I love thinking about science and how the world works. I especially love when students ask me questions that I can't answer, and I have to think about things differently.
What drew me to Lawrence: My goal is always to help students incorporate scientific and critical thinking into their daily lives. At Lawrence, I’m able to do exactly that.
Favorite subject to teach: Evolution.
Spotted off-campus: I enjoy reading science fiction/fantasy books, running, weightlifting, and I'm trying to teach myself how to be a blacksmith.
