What drew me to Lawrence: I'm a former business professional, but I decided to change careers because I have a passion for teaching. I knew that passion could grow at Lawrence. I believe in the school's multisensory instruction and am thrilled I can help children learn and succeed.
Favorite subject to teach: Reading! Hearing children read is such sweet music to my ears. I love the adventures a book takes the class on and being able to discuss literature together is so much fun.
What others don’t know about me: I'm a bit of a globe-trotter. I've traveled all over the world, including visits to China, Europe, Mexico, and Africa.
Spotted off-campus: I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and son. In the summer you might spot me on Lake Erie boating, swimming, or even on Kelley’s Island. In the cooler months, I enjoy taking my kids to the zoo, Get Air, and various playgrounds.
