A huge thank you to Connor Boclear '20 for returning to Upper Campus earlier this week to speak with our Middle and High School students! Joined on stage by Director of Athletics Bryan Cioffoletti, Connor shared insights on college life, the importance of self-advocacy, and his journey since walking the halls of Lawrence.
During his time as a Lion, Connor left a lasting mark on the basketball court. Starting on varsity as a seventh grader, he went on to become the Lake Effect Conference MVP and shattered the school record for most points scored in boys' basketball with 1,780 career points—leading the second-place record by more than 600!
After graduation, Connor attended Central State University, earning his degree in Criminal Justice in 2024. He is currently making a difference right here in Cleveland working for the Northeast Reintegration Center (NERC) while pursuing his master’s degree at Cleveland State University.
It was a joy to have Connor back on campus to visit with former teachers and inspire our current students with his success and wisdom. Once a Lion, always a Lion!
