Welcome to the 2026-27 school year!
I hope you had a wonderful summer and are as excited as I am about getting the new academic year underway.
To our returning families, it is so great to see you again! To our new families, we are thrilled you are joining our community. You’ve landed in a place that gets it. We understand where your child has been, and we are here to ensure their experience at Lawrence is different.
At Lawrence, every single day starts with possibilities. The possibility to try something new. The possibility to rediscover confidence. The possibility to belong. Our educators and staff have been diligently preparing to create an engaging, enriching environment where your child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
A Lawrence education has always reached far beyond the classroom. Here, students have the freedom to explore their passions, try new things, and find their place in a community that truly “gets them.” Whether that’s joining a club, picking up an instrument, or trying a new sport—where the goal isn’t instant perfection, but finding the joy in doing it and wanting to come back and do it again next year—we want our students to dive in.
When students give themselves permission to try, they realize just how much they can accomplish. To all of our students: embrace these new opportunities, make fresh connections, and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone.
