Dr. Nicole Pucci, Clinical Psychologist
Nicole Pucci, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Ohio. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Research-Focused Honors Psychology Program at Purdue University. She went on to earn her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University.
She received extensive training during graduate school at the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and MetroHealth Medical Center, where she specialized in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with a wide range of presenting concerns and treatment goals. Her approach focuses heavily on a warm therapeutic relationship, evidence-based treatment, and collaboration with family and systems. For the past nine years, she has been a full-time clinical psychologist at Hawken Upper School, a coeducational day school in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Pucci has spent 18 years training and working in the field of child and adolescent psychology at Cleveland-based hospitals, schools, and community agencies. This gives Dr. Pucci a unique perspective on enhancing the well-being of the whole child in order to help them thrive.
She has been published in a peer-reviewed journal and has been a guest for YourTeen magazine, NPR Ideastream, and The Journey Podcast. Additionally, her doctoral research was featured in the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Pucci has taught a seminar on Childhood Anxiety Disorders at Case Western Reserve University and has been a co-teacher of an introductory research course at Hawken Upper School. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Ohio Psychological Association and the Cleveland Psychological Association.

Dr. Kelly Christian, Schafer Center Clinical Director/Clinical Psychologist
Kelly Christian, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive training and experience in the evaluation of children and adolescents. An alumna of Cornell University and Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Christian's interest in assessment was sparked by her own student experience as a graduate assistant at the Schafer Center. She later joined the staff professionally as a postdoctoral fellow and was named clinical director in 2015. Dr. Christian also serves as an adjunct assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Emily Lauster, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Schafer Center
Emily Lauster, Psy. D., is a postdoctoral fellow at the Schafer Center. She recently completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Lauster holds specialized training in the areas of child and adolescent psychological and psychoeducational assessment. She is passionate about the role individualized, targeted assessments can play in the overall care of individuals and their families.
